Contracting Online:
- Malaysia has chosen not to enact specific electronic transaction
legislation (unlike Singapore, Australia)
- view that existing laws on contract are sufficient
- choice of law, jurisdiction and method of dispute resolution left solely to the parties concerned
- electronic business specifically excluded from the scope of the Consumer Protection Act 1998
