Naoki Koizumi

Professor of Law
Sophia University, Japan

Naoki Koizumi, a national of Japan, is Professor of Law at the Sophia University Faculty of Law, Tokyo, where he studies and teaches intellectual property law. He graduated from Tokyo University in 1985 (Bachelor of Law). Upon graduation, he served as a research associate at the Tokyo University Faculty of Law until 1988.

Before he joined the Faculty of Law, Sophia in 2000, he had been Professor of Law at Kobe, Japan (1988- 2000) , visiting scholar at Stanford Law School (1989-91) and at the Max-Planck-Institute in Munich (1997-8), visiting Professor at the University of Hawaii at Manoa (1991) and at the University of Washington (1993).
