- There are 41 separate chargeback rights, covering just about any possible circumstance.
- Chargeback rights should not be confused with consumer rights. Chargebacks are the mechanism by which Issuers credit consumers and debit merchants (via the Visa system). Chargback rights are spelled out in the Visa Operating Regulations, and are essentailly the same regardless of where the merchant and/or consumer are located.
