• Customer may sue at court of his domicile or abroad (or simply refuse payment)

  • enforcement through international instruments

• Customer may be sued at court of his domicile

  • local enforcement

• If Customer is sued abroad:

  • enforcement through international instruments, but additional judgement from court of domicile necessary
    • proof of jurisdiction of foreign court under German law
    • “ordre public” reservation, including German Consumer Protection
