Matthew S. Yeo

Matthew Yeo is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Steptoe
& Johnson LLP, where he practices within the firm's international and
communications practice groups. Mr. Yeo's practice focuses primarily on the
intersection between technology and international law, including issues
related to international electronic commerce. Mr. Yeo also works on matters
related to international telecommunications projects. He is the author,
most recently, of "Conflict Looms Over Choice of Law in Internet
Transactions," 4 Elec. Comm. & L. Rep. No. 4 (BNA)(Jan. 27, 1999)
Prior to joining Steptoe & Johnson, Mr. Yeo was an associate with the
Washington, D.C. law firm of Covington & Burling. Mr. Yeo's practice at
Covington & Burling included public international law, transnational and
foreign sovereign litigation, U.S. constitutional law, and the deregulation
of electric power markets.
