Mike Pullen
Associate
Dibb Lupton Alsop
Mike Pullen is an Associate in the Dibb Lupton Alsop Brussels Office. He
specialises in EU regulatory and competition law with a particular emphasis
on E-commerce, media convergence, data protection and commercial
communications (advertising, direct marketing, sponsorship etc). Mike also
advises Central and Eastern European Governments on bringing their laws into
line with EU internal market law as a prerequisite for their membership of
the EU.
He is legal counsel to Medecins sans Frontieres (a leading humanitarian
aid organisation) on a pro bono basis.
Mike has an LLB from the University of Lancaster and an LLM in EU and
international trade law from the University of Brussels. He is visiting
lecturer at the University of Brussels and the University of Vilnius,
Lithuania. Mike is a member of the American Bar Association's Taskforce on
Electronic Commerce. He is also news editor of International Trade Law and
Regulation.
Before joining Dibb Lupton Alsop Mike some time working in the unit with
responsibility for drafting the E-commerce directive in DGXV of the European
Commission.
Mike has spoken and written widely on the free movement of goods and
services in the EU internal market, E-commerce, advertising, trans-border
television broadcasting and a number of other EU and trade related legal
issues.
