Carol A. Dunahoo

Carol A. Dunahoo is a principal in the International Tax Services group of the PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP Washington National Tax Services office, where she advises multinational clients on a variety of international tax matters.
Prior to joining Price Waterhouse in 1996, Ms. Dunahoo was Associate International Tax Counsel at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, where she handled international tax policy matters for five years. She practiced international tax with law firms in Washington, D.C. and New York before joining Treasury.
Ms. Dunahoo is a recognized authority on international tax issues relating to electronic commerce. She leads the Electronic Commerce Tax Study Group, a coalition of major multinational companies that provides a forum for dialogue among company tax executives and with government officials on electronic commerce tax policy issues. She also advises other companies on electronic commerce policy issues. Ms. Dunahoo writes and speaks frequently on the subject of electronic commerce.
Ms. Dunahoo also has particular expertise in matters involving tax treaties, international tax policy, deferral, and international insurance tax issues. She writes frequently on a range of issues and speaks regularly to groups such as the Tax Executives Institute, the International Fiscal Association, the American Bar Association, the San Jose High Technology Tax Conference, the Bank Tax Institute, and the Insurance Tax Conference.
Ms. Dunahoo earned a B.A. degree, summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Yale College, a J.D. from Harvard Law School, and was a DAAD Fellow at Universitãt Bonn, Germany.
