Elizabeth deGrazia Blumenfeld

America Online, Inc.
Elizabeth deGrazia Blumenfeld, Deputy Director, Legal and Brand Policy at
America Online, Inc., develops AOL Inc.'s legal policies for its various
brands, including AOL, CompuServe, and Netscape. She focuses primarily on
those policies which impact the various brands' members, including privacy
and kids safety, advertising standards, news and political content, and the
member agreement.
She also co-chairs the Internet Law Subcommittee of the ABA's Cyberspace
Law Committee, Business Section and is an Advisory Board Member of BNA's
Electronic Information Policy and Law Report.
Prior to joining AOL, Ms. Blumenfeld was Staff Attorney at the Washington
Post newspaper. Ms. Blumenfeld graduated from Yale Law School in 1993 and
clerked for United States District Judge Harold H. Greene in Washington,
D.C. She received her BA, junior Phi Beta Kappa, from The University of
Chicago in 1988.
Since joining AOL, Ms. Blumenfeld has written about, and spoken on, a
wide variety of cyberspace matters, including privacy, intellectual
property, advertising and e-commerce issues for the PLI and other
organizations.
She has published articles about privacy and publisher liability on the
Internet and has co-authored an article and an ABA book on web-linking
agreements.
