Suzanne Morin received her law degree from the University of Ottawa and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1992. She completed the Regulatory Best Practices Certificate program offered by the School of Policy Studies from Queen's University in 1997. Suzanne has been working in the areas of privacy, copyright, telecommunications and electronic commerce generally. She is involved with many associations including the Canadian Association of Internet Providers (www.caip.ca), the Internet Law and Policy Forum (www.ilpf.org) and the Global Business Dialogue on Electronic Commerce (www.gbde.org). Suzanne is a member of the CSA Technical Privacy Committee that developed the CSA Model Code for the Protection of Personal Information, and in March 2000, she was appointed by the Minister of Industry to the Standards Council of Canada.
Suzanne speaks frequently at Canadian and international conferences on privacy and co-authored the Canadian Privacy Law Handbook, June 2000, the first book published on Canada's new private sector privacy legislation (www.enselearning.com).
